Established in 1793, Aldens Specialist catering butchers is a family owned business which has been supplying Universities, Hotels, Pubs and restaurants with fresh meat, game and poultry for over 215 years.
While traditional butchery methods remain the same everything else has changed dramatically and more recently the focus has been on rigorous quality control and traceability.
Aldens operate from a state of the art purpose premises in Oxford where we deliver up to 100 miles from Oxford through a fleet of Company owned vehicles.
Aldens is committed to providing a professional, helpful and reliable
service to all our customers. Every customer has an account manager
who is responsible for the smooth running of the account.
The telesales team have access to all account information and will be able help you with any questions or queries.
Office hours are from 6am to 4pm Monday to Friday and 6am to 1pm and Saturdays.
We offer 6 day a week delivery service to all our customers by company owned vehicles.
We also offer a same day delivery service for emergency orders.
Orders can be phoned, faxed or emailed. While we like all orders to be in by 12pm we understand this is not always possible. Top up orders can be placed on the answer phone until and 6am on the morning of delivery.

There has been a lot of change over the years and many skills have been lost to machinery but our team of butchers are still using traditional methods of butchery that would have been used 200 years ago.
